A group of researchers from Ukraine took part in the ECIU University Research Conference thanks to the ECIU4Ukraine project.
At the beginning of October, there was a big ECIU University Research Conference in Barcelona. Thanks to the project led by Lodz University of Technology we could support the presence of 10 Ukrainian researchers at this conference. The project is called ECIU4Ukraine and is financed by NAWA, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Among many activities written in the project, representatives from Ukrainian universities can participate in activities taken within the ECIU consortium, conferences among them.
W hosted a delegation of 10 participants from 10 different Ukrainian Universities who took part in the ECIU conference. Among those representatives were deans, vice-rectors, directors and researchers of different fields and also a chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Science Education. It was a great pleasure and privilege to enable them to take part in this event. All participants were thrilled and happy to attend the conference and learn more about research activities within ECIU. They were all eager to find new collaboration possibilities and new partners for future projects. We were all wishing for the swift end of the war in Ukraine and the rebuilding of Ukrainian higher education since they suffered a lot during the military attacks.
