TUL is hosting a training for a group of representatives from Ukrainian universities.
Lodz University of Technology has organised training for our partners from Ukrainian universities. This event is only a part of the much bigger ECIU4Ukraine project financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA. Training is prepared for academic administrative staff and teachers and the topic is "Innovative Teaching and Learning Tools and Methods (T&L) with Coaching". We are sharing our experience in this field and the approach used at ECIU University.
We were able to invite 13 representatives from 10 Ukrainian universities. The training sessions are taking place from 24 to 26 October 2023 and are held in Lodz and in Uniejów. The training consists of different modules: active learning methods, useful tools for active interaction with students, introduction to Problem/Challenge Based Learning, assessing learning outcomes, and coaching as an effective teaching and learning strategy.
Through this workshop, we hope to help Ukrainian universities, inform them about the present education trends and methods used in European universities and prepare them to develop and rebuild when the war is over. We hope they will use and spread the techniques and ideas learned during the training and through this support the higher education in Ukraine.
